Off and Running

We've made it through registration in much better shape than last year thanks to the wonderful teachers and staff at Sandburg. Thank you to the teachers and staff AND parents who were able to help out!

And already it is time to be off to the next thing!

This year, there will be a running club at the school. It is called Girls on the Run and is a Dane County sponsored program. It's for girls in 3rd grade and up. Practices will be from 3:45-5:15 each Tuesday and Thursday starting the week of September 3rd and ending in early November. You can learn more and sign up at Girls on the Run. Please spread the word to Sandburg families that you think might be interested. Sara Batesky, a second grade DLI teacher, will be the coach.

For those of you who have younger children and even boys who might be interested, please e-mail us! If we have enough interest, we will start a second running club.

Lograrmos terminar las matrículas en mejor forma que el año pasado gracias a los maravillosos maestros y personal de Sandburg.  ¡Gracias a los maestros, personal Y padres que nos ayudaron!

¡Y ya es hora de prepararse para lo que sigue!.

Este año habrá un club de correr en la escuela.  Se llama Girls on the Run, is es un programa patrocinado por Dane County.  Es para niñas en 3er grado o mayores.  Las prácticas serán los Martes y los Jueves de 3:45 a 5:15pm comenzando el 3 de Setiembre y terminando a principios de Noviembre.

Puede aprender más sobre este programa y registrarse en Girls on the Run. Por favor corra la voz a las familias de Sandburg que piense que pueden estar interesadas.  Sara Batesky, una maestra de DLI de segundo grado, será la entrenadora.
